GS2-612 Standard Grip Scale from Omega Technologies. Red and Black, replaces Hi-Shear® 2-612. Made of full-hard stainless steel. Markings are electro-etched for durability. A 0.15” tip easily fits into 5/32” holes. ( Hi-Shear® gauge .174” tip will not.)  Front side (RED) provides 1/16” graduations, and the reverse side (BLACK) offers measurement graduations in millimeters.The thinner side is used to measure the thickness of materials to be fastened so that the proper length pin may be chosen. The scale is satin finished .018 stainless steel with inch (red) and metric (black) measurements. Our GS2-612 Standard Grip Scale (Formally CATGS1) is equivalent to the Hi-Shear® 2-612 Grip Scale.
