OMSK3581-3/16 -6 Collar Removal Socket features a 3/16” collar pin diameter designed for Hi-Lok®, Hi-Lite®, and Eddie-Bolt® Fastener Collars. This socket features a patented 1/4” Female Square Drive with left-hand tapered internal threads, making it ideal for removing collars from 3/16” diameter threaded pins.

Constructed from durable 17-4 tool steel, the OMSK3581-3/16 -6 Collar Removal Socket is heat-treated to ensure maximum wear resistance. The OMSK3581 series incorporates a tapered bore with innovative ”dual lead” left-hand threads that securely grip collars for easy removal by rotating counter-clockwise.

Collars can then be effortlessly removed from the socket by rotating clockwise with pliers or other tools. OMSK3581-3/16 -6 Collar Removal Socket is compatible with aluminum, steel, and titanium collars, offering longer life when used with aluminum.
